team have spent years as residents (not tourists or occasional visitors)

We are, therefore,
not only fluently multilingual, but conversant with idioms, slang terms, and
common usage that won’t be found in dictionaries or in language schools.
To be a really
good translator, one should be truly bilingual.
Let me give you an
example. A Catalan translation of J.D. Salinger’s The Catcher In The Rye (to which they gave the title The Young Seducer) translated “all he did in his spare time was beat women off with a club”
(i.e. he was so attractive that he continually needed to defend himself against
amorous approaches by women) as “he spent all his leisure time beating women
with a rod” (translated back into English)!
So we’re ideal
translators from and into (in alphabetical order): Catalan, English, German,
and Spanish.
At this time, we
are not accepting technical or medical texts for translation.
Our rates are 0·05€
per word (5€ for 100 words, minimum fee 5€)

222) with “translation work” as the title of the e-mail. Do not send money
until we contact you.
